Terms of service

Last updated 2 August 2026

Draft — not yet in force. This document is a template. Anything shown as [ENTITY], [JURISDICTION] or [ADDRESS] has not been decided, and until it is, this page states an intention rather than a binding agreement.

These terms are an agreement between you and [ENTITY] ("we") covering your use of cmykcloud. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.

The service

cmykcloud is a set of connected applications for identity, organisations, storage, scheduling, messaging and record keeping. We may add, change or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

Your account

  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your users do.
  • Keep your credentials to yourself. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
  • You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must give accurate registration details.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

  • break the law, or infringe someone else's rights;
  • send unsolicited bulk messages;
  • attack, overload or probe the service or its infrastructure, or try to reach data that is not yours;
  • store or distribute malware.

We may suspend an account that is doing any of these, and we will tell you why when it is safe and lawful to do so.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into the service. You grant us only the permission we need to store, process and transmit it in order to run the service for you. We do not claim rights over it and we do not use it to train anything.

The audit trail

Significant actions are recorded in an append-only, tamper-evident trail. It is not editable — by you or by us — and that is deliberate. Read the privacy policy for what that means for deletion requests.

Availability, and what we do not promise

We work to keep the service running and to keep backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not able to guarantee that data is never lost. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. The service is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires and does not allow us to exclude.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service. Deletion is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of [JURISDICTION], and notices can be sent to [ADDRESS].
